Music Time Academy is proud to have talented multi-instrumentalist Alexander Attard on our team of qualified and professional instructors. Alex is not only an exceptional performer, but also a well-rounded musician with the experience and education to teach students of any age or skill level on a variety of instruments in any genre of music. A recent recipient of a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Jazz Performance) from the highly regarded California State University, East Bay, Alex has not only had the opportunity to perform worldwide with scholastic ensembles such as Cal State East Bay Jazz Orchestra (Lead Alto), CSU Contemporary Jazz combo, CSU Standard combo (Flute) and CSU Wind Symphony (Flute), but has also recently appeared on NBC’s Today Show with popular party/pop rock band, The Floor Shakers.

One of the younger instructors on staff, Alex is constantly building both his student base as well as his professional career as a working musician and educator. His hard work and steady results as both a teacher and musician have landed him a loyal base of students, countless gigs (locally and internationally), recording sessions, and opportunists to share the stage with local legends such as Mic Gillette, Melvin Butler, David Binney, John Fedchock, Tim Armacost, Marcus Shelby, Dave Eshelman, Johannes Wallman, and many more. Alex’s passion for music (along with his years of formal education and experience both teaching and performing) is clearly passed on to his private students during lessons.
